Making your artist dreams come true…

The ‘all SHE Makes’ Scholarship Fund

The All She Makes Scholarship Fund allows us to extend our efforts to create more opportunities for womxn artists across the globe!

Artists in All SHE Makes directory membership receive help with babysitting costs, special project ideas, re-grouping costs after disability, and material costs for series to amplify voices. Whatever their needs are!

We send out a scholarship need request annually (around December), and pick random winners to make sure everyone has equal chances of receiving the funds. ALL directory artists are eligible!⁣

Help us support the artists - donate to our scholarship fund and 100% of all money will directly support the scholarship fund. We do not fund administrative expenses with donations.

Curent balance: $100 USD

A note from the founder, Svitalana

I remember the discomfort of having to choose between 3 primary colors for my first art class in junior college and groceries (I couldn't have a regular job due to student visa restrictions, and my first allowed job, janitor at a gym at a minimum wage of $5.75 or $6.15 and then cafeteria for not much more, barely afforded my rent).

I remember passing up opportunities because I could not afford the application fee or a trip to a neighboring town (or not even being able to afford a vehicle, and public transport was not available in small towns)... or having to ask around if anyone could take me to the store, just for people to reluctantly agree and my card gets declined because I was short a few cents (and not used to taxes being calculated AFTER the total price in the USA).

I never used to talk about these things because I thought if I didn't think about them, it would minimize their existence in my mind. But the more I thought about that, the more I realized that no 17 year old immigrant in a new country with no support system (or anyone) should have to go through that and pretend like that did not take a toll on their mental health.

The idea for creating a scholarship was born in order to help those that are not as fortunate. On behalf of All SHE Makes, I donated first $1000 to our fund.

Please join me in our efforts, so that we may impact the lives of many!

Love to all,
Svitlana
